Nor can I really. But hey, the personal attacks are giving us something to do aren't they?
Maybe they pity us because us lowly non-credit card holders have nothing to do. Oh how I do wish for a BMP so I could play the game..Oh wait. I can.
If anything listening to this ''U HAD UR CHANCE WHINERS'' thread, which is supposed to be a petition btw, has really made me think, ''Wow. Totally NOT worth it.'' At least if I'm going to become one of you lot.
I'll sit back down and enjoy myself with the other lowly mortals.

I just believe that if people wanted it, they could have organized themselves enough to get it. I had to do that, they should have been able to.

and so did all the other people who bought it. What this amounts to is non-buyers remorse. They all probably thought." It's going to be lame so why bother." and when it turned out to not be lame they started to cry.

I'm all for selling it separate if Anet wants too, considering the extensive added value with the weapons... Hurray for crashing the gold weapon market!!! I love that aspect of it 100%. No need to ever tell people to deal with scam resellers again. Just go earn one for yourself and mod it as you wish... And Hurray for customized weapons too. That keeps the same scammers from getting unjust millions from just getting a BMP.
However in no way should the BMP content be sold offline. This precedence of selling it in the store would be a venue for future low cost addons and encourage Anet to make more. The BMP was HUGE incentive for most of us to buy up something online. Character slots, skill packs, GWEN whatever... I did buy GWEN retail so I could get the box content. which I wanted... But I made sure to buy up Character slots so I would qualify for the BMP. Well worth it in PvP Storage mules alone... IMHO.
The BMP for the people that didn't get it turned out to be a lot better then they claimed huh? At least in the rewards. Which Anet never said WHAT they would be but eluded to well in advance they would be good.
While the missions themselves I kinda have to give a thumbs down to because they are single player, and that aspect made it kinda lame. The story themselves and the rewards for participating are ok IMO. A true Added value. Its just a shame we could not go with our friends on these missions instead of a bunch of henchmen. For me. Thats just boring. But thats just me. I just prefer playing with others... Compromises had to be made and that was that...
Obviously NXT time Anet give you MONTHS upon MONTHS of time to get a bonus and they tell you it WILL be worth it. people will take their word for it and do so. I mean hell my dog could have gotten a secured limit visa card or paypal visa card or prepaid visa gift card in that time... Any of which could have been used to get the added stuff. and qualify for the BMP. And there was no limit on Character slots, so if you had all 3 pvp and all 3 retail and GWEN already prior to the offer... there was still SOMETHING to be gotten.

Rather easy to correct people and make mistakes yourself. Anyway, when people pick up on grammatical errors and whatnot, that is a sure sign that the thread is going nowhere. I have a feeling it is going to be closed soon.

This thread has to be one of the funniest things I've read in a while.
Really, it is. It's funny to see people calling themselves "adults" or "mature", only to go on complaining about a bad decision they made.
Being an "adult" or "mature" means accepting responsibility. Responsibility is defined on Wikitionary as: The state of being responsible, accountable, or answerable. That means accepting when you make a poor decision, and not complaining to others.
Even for those of you who "couldn't" get it because your parents refused you, you had a choice too. You could have chosen to persist in attempting to convince your parents. You could have made an agreement to do something in order for them to pay. But you didn't.
Frankly, I don't see any reason for anyone, aside from those who live where they had no access to any of the payment options, to have not gotten the Bonus Mission Pack without having made a conscious decision.

You made some good points until this comment, When I was young and my Parents said NO there was no asking them a 2nd or 3rd time, no meant no, for you to say they should have begged there parents/cut a deal until they got it was Ridiculous, if these kids parents told them no, it meant no.

That's true, my parent was the same way. I couldn't blame Anet for that either, that's the way it goes sometimes when you're growing up.

Slightly different when discussing an issue and people who have no authority to say no are saying it.

I hear you, but conversely:
Slightly different when discussing an issue and people who have no authority to say yes are saying it.
It's a discussion of an issue that some are for, and some are against. If you are equating the expression of opinion to having some type of authority to officially deny another person then I'd say you reading too much into it. Everyone (mostly everyone, some are only interested in calling names) are expressing opinions on why they think it should/shouldn't be sold separately. No one is assuming any mantle of authority (I don't think so anyway).

I was just pointing out that using your CC in a store is not safer than using it online, since many has stated that they are afraid of online hacks/scams.

i think some maybe expecting a response from Anet on the issue..but then again maybe nothing needs to be said..and the Promotion is over and that is that.
people need to just move on to other things..there are still plenty of other cool weapon skins out there and greens to farm. if you really want to see the cinemas try utube..i am sure there are some there already.
if it ends up being free or sold instore at a later date...we who have participated in their Promotion will have to except it.
though i cant see them doing it for obvious reasons already stated a zillion times..
